The presence of the fey soldiers, in their shining silver armor, was comforting and bittersweet. He'd miss the People. Rhyann and Talrenius especially. He said farewell as the soldiers turned and wished them good journey as they emerged from the forest.
Valoria was closest, they would start there.

He moved his horse closer to hers so he could entwine her fingers with his. It was a difficult life but it made me into the man I am today. He smiled a little.

It's different there. Not as much people. The woods are much wider. In the old places the trees are bigger than a palace...

The man took most of the forest down. She never referred to Vyris by name, he was always The Man. She looked sad. I can't show you MY forest but I can show you others...some day... She didn't want to mention there was a part of her still too hurt to go back soon
